Lions of the Red Rose — Design and Production

What began as a Covid-19 lockdown project for the Duke of Northumberland, researching his Percy ancestors during the Wars of the Roses, culminated in the 2024 publication of the Lions of the Red Rose.

An initial request for Phillips Creative to illustrate several maps showing sites of battle blossomed into a commission to provide the book design, artwork and production, as well as the cover painting, several family trees, and almost eighty illustrations.
